      its painful to look at your pics from florence. i was studying in italy (castiglion fiorentino) for five months and have been back in the states for three months (haven't had a good coffee since.)

      if you get a chance take a day trip to castiglion fiorentino. it is an 8 euro and 45 min train ride from florence. take the train to rome and get of at castiglion fiorentino (one stop past arezzo). there are some etruscan ruins and a nice hike out to a medieval castle...other than than there is not to much going on, it is not tuoristy at all like cortona or orvieto, some nice places to eat though. get a pizza at rigeros or a great meal at rogi's.
