The AA Visiting School L.A. is an enterprising workshop that aims to create a stimulating experience targeting the entertainment and music world through interactive installations.
Through the concerts themselves and the experiences of eating, drinking, and sometimes sleeping in the same bass-pumping arena for days, a new culture of active entertainment is born. Festival goers don’t want to be just passive observers when they LIVE in the festival. Everything has to be interactive! 
In July 2016, the AA and Poetic Kinetics will organize the L.A. Experiential Visiting School to introduce all participants to the music festival world. Students will engage in the changing and demanding universe that surrounds the entertainment industry and stretch their imagination to design and create a kinetic structure.
The workshop is open to student/professionals of the architecture, design, engineering, film and music industries and artists with an interest in the construction of dreams.

L.A. Experiential II builds on last year’s edition and on Los Angeles’ role as the world’s entertainment capital. Students will continue exploring new forms of spatial experiences for the media, entertainment, and music festival venues with the added element of virtual reality and will use sound to simulate virtual environments.
