Both times that I started studying architecture in a new environment, at the College of DuPage and the University of Southern California respectively, I felt ready but was unprepared for the full implications of adjusting to a new environment, including different software preferences and design methodology. The hope for this endeavor is to help students and applicants who are starting from a disadvantage to better prepare for architecture school.
