About

I am a native Bulgarian who during her third year of collage had the possibility to move to the United Stated. Exploring the fields of accounting and real estate my professional interests shifted towards architecture and design studies. Graduating with a BcA of Interior design, in 2011 I  relocated to Gothenburg (Sweden) where I had been accepted  at Chalmers University of Technology. In June 2013 I was awarded a MgA in Sustainable Design Development.

My studies at the International Academy of Design and Technology (IL, USA) created the base understanding of design fundamentals, along with knowledge of color palettes, importance of pre-design phase and SWOT analyze, understood the significance of maintaining deadlines and the necessity of creating project schedules.

Over the course of my studies  at Chalmers I’ve got involved in projects developing architectural solutions for rapidly changing environments. Interactive learning has allowed me to be part of vibrant network, establishing cooperative work processes with departments such as: city planning, sustainable engineering, feature housing development and hospitality architecture.  Challenged to find viable solutions to an ongoing projects has contributed to shaping my professional experience. I have learned the importance of team organization and communication, flexibility, responsible work initiative and the power of positive motivation.  Meeting deadlines in a fast phased schedule, while still maintaining professional ethics has become my every day goal.

Employment

Chalmers University of Technology, Hammarkullen, Gothenburg, Hammarkullen Läxhjälp Employee

The tutoring position at Chalmers University of Technology is directed towards two main goals: learning and social communication. It is predominantly directed towards children abilities to learn subjects such as English, mathematics, biology, physics, and chemistry, with almost no age group limitation. Each tutor is assigned to a school with the idea of the tutors working in groups of two, three or four, with one English speaking and the rest native Swedish. Considering the diversity of nationality groups in Gothenburg it is essential to find a common understanding of what learning means for the young generation. That is where the core of the Lexjelp Projects of Chalmers University of Technology lays in.
