About

Founded in 2011, Robert B. Bernstein, Architect, LLC is structured to provide its clients with individualized service.  The firm specializes in residential and small scale projects.

Our clients, their sites, the region, and the environment are our inspiration.  The unique qualities of each project spring from the client’s wishes, site characteristics, regional traditions, and the local environment.

Architecture is the art of building.

  • Architecture is about creating a building that is more than the sum of its parts.  It is the difference between a well appointed building and a life enhancing experience.  Architecture creates an environment that celebrates as well as supports the user.
  • Architecture is not a style.  It is not modern or traditional.  Architecture is inclusive.  It is modern and traditional.  Architecture encompasses rationalism, romanticism, efficiency, sentiment, innovation, history, economy, luxury, decoration, and austerity.
  • Architecture is stewardship of the natural and built environment.
