About

Within the last few years I have gained significant experience within the Interior design and Architectural field - designing, constructing and marketing multiple successful Manhattan based hospitality venues within the city’s vibrant restaurant and bar industry.

Simultaneously, I have educated myself through continuing ed. classes focused on architectural design and real estate development - which has only stimulated my appetite to grow within the field as an artist and designer. I possess 2 design degrees, currently pursuing a part-time M.Arch program with a ton of hands on experience and a passion (since I can remember) for creativity and problem solving. My formal education and experience has awarded me a keen eye for design and the ability to translate a concept from inception through design, presentation, construction, branding and ultimately promotion.

Further, my hand drawing abilities, color awareness and spacial perception have allowed me to work quickly and express clearly a vision that translates well to both clients and contractors alike. Having worked on many residential remodeling projects (since an early age), coupled with my professional experience, I have developed familiarity with materials, textures, tools and construction processes which have grounded me in a sense of practicality and an awareness of applications that enhance environmental appeal while maintaining functionality, sensitivity to budgets and comply with the myriad of local building codes and restrictions specifically within the hospitality industry.

Recently I have developed a passion for sustainability within planning, design and built environments, pursuing my LEED Green Associate certification and elevating my skills through multiple continuing Ed. courses. My interests include realizing and innovating the opportunities available within new technologies, efficiencies and materials such as 3D printing, energy modeling and recycled/sustainable materials. I consider myself highly motivated, diligent, personable and inspired by collaboration and teamwork, I hope to contribute and grow within a creative environment of equally enthusiastic and motivated individuals.
