The water tower is a self sufficient vertical public place, which provides its surrounding with a natural aesthetic. A voronoi network is used as the basis of the design concept. Such tessellation can be performed in 2D as well as in 3D space. Each of the voronoi cell is covered by a titanium dioxide layer (TiO2) that is activated by ambient daylight. TIO2 reduces concentrations of air pollutants making the surrounding air cleaner.
