The point of departure for the Masters Thesis was a study of the worn-down area located at the future intersection of the old train line and a new light rail connection. An iterative approach was taken, trying to study the the site through a series of proposals - volumes were placed to suggest new urban spaces, which would suggest alternative functions which in turn dictated the shape of the volumes: An ever rising spiral of new ideas to be tested. The over-all goal was to deliver a study and realistic master plan, with many strategic implications for the future growth of Herlev Municipality.
