The Bachelors Thesis was a designated site-and-program assignment set up by the Royal Academy, Department of City and Landscape Architecture. On the outskirts of Copenhagen's urban core, this hybrid institution of art galleries and office spaces rises as a local landmark - a gate to the city. It's horizontal flow of sloping art spaces contrasts the office functions distilled in the tower, and the two programs clash in the depths of the complex where the lobby, eatery and auditorium connects to the streetscape, and the secret garden of the inner yard.
