I am currently an Administrative Assistant at a Technical Recruiting Firm on Wall Street. I handle daily office responsibilities such as emailing, answering phone calls, faxing, etc. I also maintain client relationships through phone and email, along with coordinating appointments, interviews, etc. I help maintain the company's database of resumes and maintain most office documents in general. In my personal life, I enjoy swimming, nail art and exploring Manhattan.

Clients include investment banks such as Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, etc. Columbia Technology works with technology professionals throughout the hiring process, from receiving and scanning resumes, setting up interviews, and working with clients throughout the onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the professional email for president/founder of the company
Post and maintain job slots on various websites
Format and submit resumes to our various clients
Schedule and track interviews
Answer all incoming phone calls and directs them accordingly
Follow up and communicate with Hiring Managers daily
Order and distribute office supplies
Schedule meetings for the president of the company and various managers
Maintain Excel sheets of company information and records
General administrative duties, including faxing, copying, filing, etc.

Teaching + Learning & Technology (TLT) is the main IT department for Stony Brook University. TLT encompasses various IT services throughout the University. This includes SINC sites, which are 17 computer/printing labs open to the students and general public. The SINC sites serve thousands of patrons daily. Faculty consists of professional staff and student employees (consultants).

Responsibilities:

Manager of the main and first SINC site on the Long Island campus
Main Troubleshooter and provide Level 1 and occasional Level 2 Support
Manage consultants and delegate duties
Create schedules for consultants
Assist all users with questions and technical help
Provide end of the year feedback and reviews on consultant performance
Organize, create and teach consultant workshops on basic skills, such as HTML, Photoshop, Adobe, etc.
Fix and maintain equipment
Participate in bi-weekly manager meetings with professional staff and provide criticisms and feedback, as well as insights on any issues and developments

Throughout the program, I was exposed to diverse application areas ranging from traditional business, finance, and accounting through telecommunications, networks, multimedia, and database management, to computer-aided design and industrial production management systems.
