About 

Alyssa Murasaki Saltzgaber is currently working as a Junior Archiect at the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, where she has been involved with numerous tower designs, including the Toranomon Hills Station Tower set in Tokyo. She has also worked as a Project Manager at a small architectural firm, LEVEL Architects, in Tokyo & Yokohama, Japan, focusing on residential design work. 

In June, 2012 she presented her thesis work to complete her 5 year education at 
Rhode Island School of Design, receiving her Bachelor of Architecture and 
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees. 

Employment 

OMA (The Office for Metropolitan Architecture), New York, NY, US, Junior Architect

Essential member of the Toranomon Hills Station Tower project in Tokyo, contributing to the SD and DD phases with designs for various areas of the project, with a special focus on the Mediatheque and North Block. Participated in all Workshops during the SD phase with the Client and Executive Architects in Tokyo and assiting in all communication/coordination throughout the entirety of the project. Key member of a competition for the Tenjin Business Center Tower in Fukuoka, Japan, continuing to develope the project throughout the SD phase. Active member of a residential tower project, located in New York, during the SD and DD phases. Contributed to the production of drawing sets for submission, 3D models for spatial understanding and renders, conceptual diagrams, and client presentations of all projects involved. Actively involved with the Business Development of all current and pending Japan projects for the office.

Designed and produced floor designs and large scale paintings as part of a collaboration for the Mercedes-Benz VIP Lounge for New York Fashion Week Fall 2014.

Follow through with code inspection processes and obtaining building permits. Design and presentation contribution to various projects such as model making and renderings. In charge of foreign media distributions and translations.
