Alyssa Murasaki Saltzgaber was until recently working as a Project Manager at a small residential architectural firm, LEVEL Architects, in Tokyo & Yokohama, Japan. In June, 2012 she presented her thesis work to complete her 5 year education at Rhode Island School of Design, receiving her Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees.
Born in Andrews AFB, Maryland, USA, she has lived in multiple cities over the years from rural Misawa, Japan, to the culture rich Rome, Italy, and to her most recent metropolis, Tokyo, Japan. Currently she resides in New York City doing freelance work at the moment. Living in different locations has given her exposure to the different ideas and cultures that exist within the world which has fueled her desire to experience more cities, awaiting to be explored.
