The Piazza Inside

“...But this shouldn’t be just a table. This should be a gathering space, like La Piazza del Popolo in Rome”.

Every year, ABC Serrano Shopping Center, offers a variety of workshops to activate the common spaces of the mall and generate an extra income due to the rent of these areas to some notable brands.
There for, the project should perform as a support to these events. And even more. It should help defining a space for sharing and chatting before, during and after the events. That’s a classic Piazza!.
We were forced to use palets as the corner stone of our project (even though, we already hate them). Somehow, this turned to be the perfect piece to generate a rhythm, a perfect “columnata” of a Baroque plaza. 

Almost like a land art operation we displayed the palets around the 3 level void in which we were invited to operate.
