About 

Alexandra Peck is a New York City based interior designer with a background in high-end residential, boutique hotels, and workplace design.

Upon obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia, Alexandra moved to New York City. She has built a strong foundation in design by working with notable interior designers and architects such as West Chin, Morris Adjmi, and Jeffrey Beers. Her experience in interior design and interior architecture runs the gamut from concept creation to construction documentation and decoration upon project completion.

The projects Alexandra has worked on over the past few years has been featured in numerous publications such as The New York Times, NY Curbed, Mansion Global, Commercial Observer, New York Yimby and The Post And Courrier to name a few.

Most recently Alexandra worked for internationally recognized hospitality firm Soho House, leading the design and project management of their largest member club in North America which is currently under construction.

Soho House & Co., New York, NY, US, Project Manager & Senior Interior Designer

–– Managed the design team and led design for Soho House Nashville, the company’s largest member club and hotel in North America at 153,000 sf (110,000 sf of public space with 9 venues including a 60-seat cinema, pool, gym, 7 bars and restaurants with 860 covers, as well as a 49-key hotel and a penthouse suite).

–– Saved the company $5 million by selecting what materials to specify, furniture to procure, and in some cases bespoke furniture to develop, as well as negotiating pricing agreements with both industry leaders and local workshops, thus ensuring the project was designed below the $36 million budget.

–– Sourced, hired and coached a team of designers with weekly meetings to set goals, manage time and meet project deliverables. Motivated the team by empowering them with responsibilities and independence to research, source and develop the project.

Jeffrey Beers International, New York, NY, US, Senior Interior Designer

–– Carried out design development for a new build 500-key Hilton hotel in Columbus, OH by producing schematic design presentations, drafting floor plans, and originating concepts for both FF&E and millwork pieces.

–– Sourced, procured and managed a $120,000 staging budget for two Raphael Viñoly designed NoMad, NYC residential model units that sold for a combined $8 million.

MA | Morris Adjmi Architects, New York, Senior Interior Designer

–– Took seven projects from concept to documentation: a 26-key boutique hotel in Charleston, SC, two NYC office renovations overseen through completion, two NYC luxury condominiums ranging between 5 - 42 units, and two 20-unit NYC apartment buildings including several affordable housing units.

–– Managed value engineering processes by working with vendors and GCs to obtain best pricing while preserving quality. Oversaw construction administration on site as well as reviewed shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs.

–– Responsible for sourcing FF&E and finishes as well as producing construction drawing sets for high-rise residential buildings, in coordination with architectural team, senior designers, and consultants.

–– Adapted and streamlined documentation to meet ADA compliance, IBC and NYC Building Code.

–– Worked jointly alongside three principal interior designers providing clientconsultations, site visits and space assessments, taking field measurements, drafting Giza Studio design documents, selecting fabric & finishes, and submitting bids and quotations.

–– Independent project management of office furniture expo open to university
personnel, through creating and maintaining event budget, marketing, organizing event space layout, and managing manufacturer representative communications.
*The event was expected to draw more than 250 attendees and generate an excess of $50,000 in company profits.

–– Maintained product samples and literature files in materials library to maximize
efficient use of time by designers.
