Reading Room

In cooperation with Adam Panek and the Interior Masters Group, a design and build company, I
prepared a series of renderings and shop drawings for a reading room in Brooklyn, New York.
The client was interested in creating an elegant, traditional look in a room intended for reading,
contemplation and meditation. The existing space was small but got a lot of day light through a skylight and a huge bright window. This allowed us to use mahogany and other rich dark wood finishes to create a classic and warm atmosphere in the room. Stylish paneling and a centrally-situated fireplace furnished the library. The rear wall was designed as a movable partition, allowing a once in a year connecting the room with a dining space for Passover.
