I live in Los Angeles. I have worked as a carpenter, a house painter, and a fine artist until 2 years ago after relocating to Los Angeles to accompany my wife in her adventures in Graduate school. MTH painting, Portland, OR, US, Lead Painter and Finish Carpenter
At MTH painting I served two roles: Lead Painter and Finish Carpenter. As the Lead Painter I was responsible for supervising the daily operations of MTH painting, an exterior and interior surface restoration company, as well as the management of a five-person painting crew. As the Finish carpenter I sourced and recreated architectural details such as doors, Georgian sash windows, staircases and casework, providing a level of quality unseen in small-scale painting crews.
SB Construction, Portland, OR, US, Lead Exterior carpenter
SB Construction was a siding and remediation company assigned to restore single and multi-family units in a craftsman revival subdivision in Hillsboro, a suburb of Portland, Oregon. As the Lead exterior carpenter my responsibilities were to direct and replace siding, case work, building wrap, windows, as well as structural and architectural elements with a large emphasis on refurbishing the faulty building envelopes.
