Paul founded Archinect in 1997 while transitioning from the University of Oregon to SCI-Arc. Paul resides in LA with his wife and baby daughter. He is the principal in charge at Extra Medium and publisher of Archinect.

John Jourden is an (a)rchitect, curator, interviewer, and pathological thinker living in Chicago. He is a frequent collaborator of curator Lance Fung, and has served as associate curator, architectural liaison, and a design consultant for numerous projects.

Mason White joined Archinect in 2000. He is a founding partner of lateral architecture and teaches at University of Toronto.

Bryan Finoki (AKA "bfunk") is a writer, an artist, a photographer, a worldwide wanderer, and on his way to becoming somewhat of a professional psychobabbler, too. While he is currently lost on tour of a strange urban underworld and its global borders, he is mapping it all on a little far-flung site he calls, Subtopia.

An Architect and Environmental Designer

As a landscape designer and general racontouer currently based in London, UK, Heather is friend of wayward plants and collector of infinitely small things. She is also very kind to animals.

Geoff Manaugh is a writer, grantwriter, would-be novelist, essayist, Archinect "team member" and the founding editor of BLDGBLOG.

Bryan was raised by wolves in the wilderness of the American Rockies. After being discovered by a talent agent and a brief stint in hollywood as a 'werewolf' he shaved, enrolled at the GSD, and joined the Archinect crew as a School Blogger in 2004.

Marlin joined Archinect’s editorial staff in 2006 after participating in the School Blog Project. He is a designer, writer, essayist filmmaker and consummate over-thinker. His free time includes experiments with salt pork in order to discover the secret recipe of his mother’s Gumbo.

Quilian is a designer, advocate, writer, and editor based in Cambridge MA.
