Ridge Park & Whitemarsh Elementary Schools, Plymouth Meeting, PA –[2003-2004] Expansion and renovation of two kindergarten wings for Colonial School District elementary schools. Both are one story brick masonry with steel frame buildings. Ridge Park Elementary School, kindergarten wing included six classrooms and support spaces. Whitemarsh Elementary School, 9600 s.f. of similar additional classrooms, restrooms and connecting hallway was built. The aesthetics of the new wings for both schools were intended to blend in seamlessly with the existing structure, while integrating modern systems and equipment into each classroom. The entrance corridor at Ridge Park with a built-in window seats served as a focal point for small gatherings and as links to the new addition. Originated full drawings and administered construction meetings. Coordinated reviewed and approved submittals and project close-out.
