As one of the busiest Kaiser facility in Orange County, it was
necessary to double the number of providers to continue to serve
a growing member base. This new 45,000 square foot three story
addition will double the size of the original facility, and update
20,000 SF of the existing facility.
The new primary entrance bridges the two office wings, inviting
visitors to a new more accessible entry identified with vertical
and horizontal aluminum architectural features. Within the lobby,
glass curtainwall provides daylighting, and architectural features
reinforce wayfinding to support the decentralized reception model
that will be introduced for delivering services.
The project was completed as a team effort between TAYLOR
as executive architect and interior desiger and Frank Webb
Architects as design architect. All expansion and renovation was
performed without interrupting current services.
