The SouthWest Corridor is a five mile park that runs through the Jamaica Plains Area. This Park is maintained by the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy and they help to restore and enrich the park for future generations. Along with help from the public, adjacent communities, businesses, educational and cultural institutions. The Conservancy is able to provide everything that is necessary for the up keep of the park. Each community is designated a specific portino of the SouthWest Corridor to help maintain. The Jamaica Plains Community has recently adopted several new gardens in and around the Stony Brook Area with many of the being edible gardens. With this being said, I am proposing a headquarters for the Conservancy, apartments for its stewards, and apartments for those who wish to volunteer and help with the maintenance of the park for my parcel of the site.
