Michael Gultneh

Radford, VA, US

I am seeking to use my educational background and internship experience and apply it to a professional work environment. I completed a five-year architecture program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design.  Since that time, I have been working full-time and taking classes to develop additional skills as a future architect by perusing a Computer Aided Drafting Certification.

During my time as an undergraduate student, I had a major role as an architect in LUMENHAUS, which was my school’s entry to the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition. LUMENHAUS has open, flowing spaces linking occupants to each other within the house and to nature outside. For the past several years I’ve spent a lot of time working at LUMENHAUS, which has provided me a lot of career inspiration.

I sincerely appreciate your time in reviewing my qualifications.  If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (571) 232-3280 or at  Thank you for your consideration.
