About

With a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a Master of Science in Architecture from Southern Illinois University, I have developed a wide range of skills and architectural disciplines. Including a decade long experience with AutoCAD, and a wide range of experience with rendering and 3D modeling programs from Sketch-Up to Rino. With these skills, I applied them to my greatest ability entering my first real professional work at SGW Architects. For four years I worked with a wide range of projects that stretched across the county. Working in the heart of Chicago, my greatest lessons was studying architecture as a profession in relation to my skills in drafting and would eventually be responsible for my office’s detail and CAD library. In 2019, I pushed my skills at Jon Splitt Architects, who specialized in breweries, restaurants, and residential projects. As a small firm we were dependable on one another and brought a distinctive design that shaped the growing Chicago northside. Our team worked alongside designers from Studio K, crafting memorable and iconic spaces for commercial clients, especially along the Fulton Market area of Chicago. My work has led me to handle clients on site and create construction documents ranging from many diverse fields.

While studying at UIC, persistence and creativity have helped me survive long studio hours to provide my professors the best work I could create. In the real world I imagine no differently, to give clients the most choices in shaping their desired design, using the best technology and resources, whether they are “going green” or keeping affordability in mind, no challenge is ever worth putting down.
