Jakob Awerkamp

I am a 5th year architecture student at Cal Poly Pomona. I am also a transfer student from Orange Coast College. 

I spent my 4th year abroad living and learning in Florence, Italy for 9 months. I traveled to over 30 cities in 10 countries in the time I was abroad and learned an immense wealth of knowledge about other cultures, European architecture, and classical design.

I have a deep passion for all things involving design and comes from parents with backgrounds in art and construction. I am very interested in interning at a firm that has a wide portfolio and impact of peoples daily lives.
