About 

Over 15 years of Design Experience.  Beginning my Design Career as a CAD Drafter I excelled in AutoCAD and Chief Architect.  Incorporating my Drafting knowledge into Interior Design was a natural evolution- while Designing Residential and Commercial Interiors allowed me to gain real world experience while working with clients of all kinds.  Living in Sarasota, Florida I worked as a Set Designer for Theater and loved the live energy and performance that brought my Designs to life.  Moving to Los Angeles, California I began Designing for Film and Television as a Production Designer and Art Director in Hollywood.  Getting to work on so many amazing projects with so many amazing people allowed me to experience life to its fullest.  Now- returning back to my roots in upstate NY, Finger Lakes Region I am designing with Barn Livin' llc.  Building and Designing Rustic Barn Homes allows me to Design from Concept to Completion- while staying true to my love of Green Living and Green Design.

Chemung County Library District, Elmira, NY, US, Freelance Designer

Designed the newly updated Youth Services Performance Space for the Elmira Public Library. Worked alongside many board officials involved at the library to compromise and propose solutions to space needs and problematic layout. Designed the overall package in phases to ensure plan met budget and time constraints. Successfully Drafted and presented all working drawings needed for construction, demolition and completion of project in a timely manner.

Worked as a freelance CAD Drafter- drafting required drawings needed in the Restroom Facilities expansion. Shower houses on location needed to be enlarged to comply with coding and accessibility. Responsible for producing all working drawings in completion of this project. Arranged and managed meetings to be had by all parties involved in process to ensure proposed time completion.-

Excelled in CAD by independently studying advanced CAD and rendering techniques.

University of South Florida; Steve Mitchell, Tampa, FL, US, Assistant Set Designer

Assisted Steve Mitchell in the Set Design for the Theater Production of Rossum's Universal Robots- RUR. Responsible for completing and presenting all working drawings needed for construction of the set and decor. Worked with and led student participation classes throughout the construction and design process. Completed all scenic painting needed and designed key elements of propaganda posters in a timely manner.

Designed the set for the Summer Tour Production of Stuart Little for American Stage Theater. Attended all production meetings and worked along side fellow directors, designers and actors to achieve desired performance style. Supplied Drawings and Renderings as needed to complete the Scenic Painting needed in the Design. Accepted and enjoyed the challenge of designing for a touring production based in puppetry.

Education 

University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, US, Bachelors, Theater Set Design

Excelled in the areas of Design and Drafting. Creating an array of classes allowing for me to explore all realms of Design I focused on the area of Entertainment Design. Studying and learning how to visually express emotion and mood I became involved with the Theater and many main stage performances. Already having experience in CAD I took this opportunity to boost my CAD education and independently studied advanced CAD while participating in a TA position assisting fellow students CAD I and CAD II. Exploring Model Building, Scenic Painting, Advanced Drawing, Carpentry- Construction, Lighting Design, Sound Design and Prop Making broadened my experience of the overall requirements that Design needs to be successful. My education and experience gained at USF has made me into the well rounded designer that I am today and I look forward to the next learning chapter wherever it may be.

Studied Interior Design while completing all my general education classes. Enjoyed the experience of creating and presenting design ideas to a group of fellow aspiring designers. Sculpture, Drawing, Painting and Metal Working all play a part in conveying proposed designs in my life today.

With numerous years of perfect attendance my driven aspirations were evident at a young age.
