I am currently a Manager at 16 Handles. My duties are to follow up on the team members training and make sure that they continue to develop their skills. I also run the shift and set up when the team members take there breaks. I also make sure that the cleaning of the store is up to par and coach the team members on what to look for to clean and how the store should look. I place the yogurt orders and I order the items needed for the store.

I worked for Chipotle from 2007 - 2011 and was hired as a crew member and worked my way up to General Manager. As the GM of the 320 Park Ave location I developed a team of all top performers and empowered them to achieve high standards to bring the restaurant a lot of success. The restaurant broke sales record and we broke throughput records. We are one of the fastest restaurants in NYC. I ran the daily operations training and mentoring my Kitchen Manager to run the prep area of the restaurant and mentoring my Service Managers to run the Front of House service piece of the restaurant. I developed a total of 12 managers and many of them went on to become GM’s of their own restaurant. I have a clear understanding of how to train and develop people and understand that our success is through great training and structure. My restaurant had the best peak coverage and I controlled the labor minimizing OT. I am very familiar with how to properly deploy and arrange crew to get better operational results. I am also very familiar with cash handling policies. I conducted 2 cash audits every month checking all the cash, receipts, and making sure that the procedures were being followed. I also made sure that the daily deposits were entered correctly and trained my management team about these procedures.
