About 

I am a highly enthusiastic Architect with 17 years plus experience in delivering a range of projects from small extensions to high end residential dwellings along with institutional projects and commercial premises.

I have experience in leading design teams on a range of High End Residential Projects from traditional deign to contemporary in heavily constricted planning zones.  I believe in organic design benefitting from natural materials and natural light to create modern family homes.

Employment

In this position I am charged with the role of overseeing the office design work ranging from small extensions, listed building conversions up to large seaside developments. My responsibilities include brief preparation and evaluation, site analysis, sketch schemes & feasibility, 3d modelling / photomontages, detailed design, construction drawings, site management and contract admin. Particular highlights for me so far include being the lead designer for two large residential projects both of which have both been submitted for the local design awards 2019 (Wayside & Cotil Du Parcq). I have gained considerable experience in presenting schemes at planning committees, planning appeal hearings and Architectural Commissions.

Roles included, preparation of planning and building control applications and assisting lead Architect in everyday roles. During this time, I was involved in a range of schemes focusing mainly on high end residential, working on scheme design all the way through to construction on site. During my time at Page I worked on two institutional projects both being large extensions to schools including a full refurb. I was charged with drawing all construction detailing for the curtain walls, waterproofing details and internal fit out

In this position I have worked on an array of projects from small housing extensions and developments, to a number of large Swiss competitions for housing and commercial use and a competition in Abu Dhabi for a Freeport. My duties consisted of aiding in the scheme development / drafting of the scheme in 2D & 3D for planning authorisation / project representation / construction detailing. This was an exciting opportunity to be involved in competitions and gaining experience in an overseas market.
