The design of this library was one of three to receive the 2006 AIA Design Excellence Award.

Located in the San Fernando Valley, this new 10,500 s.f. public library is situated in a park setting adjacent to a vibrant residential area.  The one-story building rests on a raised platform as an expression of the building rising from the ground and reaching out to the community.  The library includes a day care area, administrative spaces and offices, and a community meeting room with multi-media capabilities.
