Residential: new homes, additions, and renovations.
Commercial: apartments, assisted living facilities, restaurants, businesses, mercantile, assembly spaces, self storage facilities, etc.
I have worked on hundreds of projects while at Gouck and often work with a client from the onset of the project until they receive their permits. Construction administration is typically provided on an as-needed basis.

-Initial site visits meeting the client and discuss their project intent
-Creating cost of work proposals
-Existing site measuring and documentation
-Developing schematic drawings and working through the iterative process with the client.
-Developing permit drawings: Plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, etc. Also produce electrical and plumbing diagrams showing receptacles, lighting, water & sanitary lines.
-Perform structural analysis for residential projects. Calculations include loads and deflections for beams, floor, and roof spans. For non-standard structural elements, I will coordinate with a Structural Engineer.
-Provide cost estimates based on RS Means data
-Code and ADA based work
-Rendering and presentations primarily through Rhino, Revit, and Adobe
