This was a pro bono project I got involved with in Marina Del Rey, CA.  This was a transition shelter for homeless mothers and children.  Each designer had a room to design however they  wished  and all items in the room were either donated or bought through cash donations.  It was a very challenging project which I enjoyed doing very much.  There were many articles written about the project.  Here are a few:  http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/39257//Small-Space--Small-Budget--Learning-from-The-Upward-Bound-House
