UTH [design project]

The specific project is a design of public library in the city of Volos. The plot is situated in a dense urban fabric with shops, offices and public buildings. Solving the building was mainly a series of drawings and physical models.

The main issue was the traffic to and from the building. The plot is located between the two main roads of the town, Dimitriados and Iasonos. Our intention was to have a single move that connects these two roads allowing the passage of pedestrians. 

Apart from the union of the two axes, our goal was to tour the area of ​​the building by introducing the visitor into it. This led to the main course - a line which was designed and thrived throughout the building program.
