I possess an impeccable employment record and a strong work ethic.  My ability to communicate in an articulate and effective manner with a diverse group of people is an essential element of my professional character.  I have worked directly in the area of executive assistance and office administration with progressively increasing responsibilities for over 10 years.  In addition, my background includes a variety of experience that ranges from technology training to marketing management, budgeting and supervising staff.  My experience while serving the University of South Florida includes:  executive level support; interaction with and support of faculty and students;  planning and coordinating retreats and other campus wide events;  providing administrative support to faculty and executive level searches;  interpreting and disseminating university policies and procedures;  handling human resource related matters; coordinating travel arrangements; providing office managerial support to an academic unit; scheduling academic classroom spaces; problem solving and customer service; and collaborating with board members and other campus committees.  My knowledge and skills are well developed through practical application, on the job training and lifelong learning. Responsible for providing academic support as the Office Manager for the Divisions of Engineering and Information Technology including course scheduling in Banner, processing faculty and adjunct appointments, letters of offers and semester assignments, recordkeeping, travel expense reporting and budget reporting. In addition to my office manager role, I am the campus Room Scheduler and responsible for scheduling all academic classrooms, seminar rooms and computer labs using the R25 Event Scheduling System. This includes updating course information in Banner, scheduling all campus meetings and events, producing weekly space reports, collaborating with Polk State College on their overflow space needs, and reporting space utilization each semester.

Provided executive assistance and support for the Regional Chancellor. Represented the Chancellor’s office through interactions with all areas and levels of the University, and externally within the community. Maintained a high level of confidentiality. Managed all aspects of the Chancellor’s calendar, assuring timeliness of critical meetings, coordinating speaking engagements and providing necessary information in support of his/her schedule. Followed up with the Chancellor’s direct reports to assure timely completion of projects, information requests and action items. As the board professional for the campus, acted as the main point of contact for the campus board members, scheduled and set up board meetings, and published the agendas and minutes of all board meetings. Handled the Chancellor’s travel planning, expense reporting and reimbursements, and other financial related matters of the office including purchasing, invoice payments and memberships.
