During my last year of college I dedicated my life to my senior thesis project. I chose to design a luxury drug and alcohol rehabilitation located in Tribeca, NY. The building I chose was the home of The Greenwich Hotel at 377 Greenwich street, and was renamed “Haven on the Hudson”  I chose this project because I was able to execute my talents in different types of design such as restaurant, hospitality and a spa. The scope of work included the reception, dining hall, guest rooms, counseling center, meditation pods as well as a full ropes challenge course located on the top floor. I believe that this project has helped me to decide to transition in commercial design, I find it to be very limitless and interesting being able to translate creativity for the general public. I have attached two images of the counseling center and the guest bedrooms from my senior thesis project.  I received an excellent critique after my presentation from industry professionals claiming that my work reached an impressive level of sophistication and thoughtfulness to each design decision.
