I have worked for architecture firms from New York to California and in between designing unique and groundbreaking projects. I also have additional experience in commercial real estate, professional newsprint illustration, art studio and gallery management. I currently work as a Project Designer for Warner Group Architects in Montecito, Santa Barbara, CA. The Warner Group Architects specializes in high end residential and country clubs. There I produce 3d digital models and visualizations of design concepts, assist in design research, and prepare final architectural documents and drawings for construction. I effectively use the most up to date drafting and building information modeling software to increase office productivity to accurately visualize and document complex 3d forms.

During my voluntary internship for this non profit organization, I have assisted in organizing a biannual events gathering 60-80 architectural professionals to donate their services to nonprofit organizations for a day. Responsibilities include gathering funding, networking and recruiting participants, managing projects, managing audio and video, gathering donations both monetary and for catering services, and producing an event publication.

During this week long experience, I was given the chance to intern with a high end residential and commercial architecture firm based in the Chelsea district of Manhattan, NY. During this week, I assisted with the preparation of a firm presentation at NYIT, construction administration of a +5,000 SF Condo remodel on the upper west side, and a historical documentation of a residential condo expansion.
Summit Architecture, Kansas City Missouri, Architectural Intern
During my internship with Summit Architecture I worked closely with the acting owner and principal. I had the responsibility of reformatting and producing the new website and marketing portfolio. I also met directly with clients, documented existing conditions, and took several projects through the schematic design phase.

During this internship I had the pleasure of assisting Mr. Patterson with the acquisition of a block of property intended to be remodeled into a new university campus shopping center. My responsibilities included attending community meetings, documenting comps, conducting market research, and working directly with his hired architect to develop a schematic design for the proposal.

During my internship at the Kansas City Star I worked with other local area teens to produce a weekly published, one-page spread for the Kansas City newspaper. I was the acting comic illustrator and produced pieces that would be paired with articles produced with other high school teens.
