Erik Sommerfeld, Director of Design Build Program at the University of Colorado Denver and 2014 ACSA Design Build Award winner, will present the design build work he has participated in. The Associated Collegiate Schools of Architecture advances the work of over 250 design schools in the US and Canada facilitating dialogue among diverse areas of the design disciplines.
Working with his students at University of Colorado, and sometimes in academic partnership with DesignBuildBLUFF at the University of Utah, Rick has created dynamic projects that are not only frugal and sustainable, but also well-designed, attentive to proportions, to orientation on the site, and to the experience of the user.
