The proposed Cafeteria is to remain at its existing location on the third floor and expand into two existing classrooms.

The kitchen staff toilet has a small corridor lined with lockers before entering the toilet space. This area is currently used as staff storage, changing room and toilet facility. The toilet will remain in place, but be reconfigured to allow the entrance into the toilet to change from the corridor to the cafeteria. Kitchen staff storage and changing room will be relocated from the south wall of the existing Cafeteria to the north wall of the proposed Cafeteria.

The Cafeteria will expand in excess of approximately 3,000 square feet with the proposed renovation. Currently the needs of the cafeteria are not adequate for the amount of students that are
registered with the school as well as for a new school that will be entering the building in the near future. There is only one serving line, where two are needed.

The above spaces will be converted into a larger Cafeteria with the addition of a second serving line to accommodate the new inflow of students. The Cafeteria expansion will also host a storage space, staff changing room, janitor’s closet and staff toilet. The total square footage of the renovated cafeteria and its accompanying spaces will be 7,028 square feet
