This degree work aims to generate a conservation initiative and rehabilitation of a residential building of cultural interest , belonging to the old part of town of Giron , Santander. The intervention takes into account current protection legislation is an impediment to adapt BIC infrastructure to the development of tourism and business activity of the municipality . an architectural and historical analysis that includes the state of the building , its context , the resident community and the floating population is made; Besides tourism and business analysis. The intervention is based on the rehabilitation of a residential property in order to transform it into a business hotel and , in turn , contribute to tourism in the municipality through the integration of formal, functional and cultural aspects.
