ATRIUM
The building design reflects the traditional atrium concept. All functional components located around the atrium, built external shape of the building covered by two roofs independent structure.
Site Layout
The building occupied the whole site with entry plaza located in south corner, accessible from Cornish Road. Separate pedestrian entry for Consulate Section is from the north corner of the site.
The complex covered area is 1834m2 which is 61% of the site.
Architectural Expression
The architecture of the building is interplay between the covered by stone blank or glazed walls with the suspended above perforated concrete roof structure. The window screens with Islamic geometrical pattern reflect the culture and heritage of the country.
The selection of the finishing materials matched the architectural character and the design intend.
