The Turett Collaborative, New York City, Senior Interior Designer

My main project has been leading the design of a NYC-based hospitality project, comprised of the full renovation of four hotel properties. Elements of this project include working with the clients in developing and refining brand aesthetic and content, designing custom furniture while developing prototypes with local workrooms, creating custom contract textiles/wallpaper/carpet, sourcing FF+E, drafting construction documents, as well as researching and analyzing successful local hotel brands. Additionally, I worked on multiple luxury residential projects including homes at 15 Central Park West, 150 Charles Street and 250 West 81st Street.

Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils, New York City, Showroom Interior Designer

I was in charge of the interior design and merchandising of multiple, to-the-trade furniture and textile showrooms across the US and Canada. The execution of these biennial installations included sales analysis, furniture selection and fabric-to-frame specification, planning floor layouts, pillow design, rug and accessory selection, as well as working with locally based workrooms in coordinating wallpaper and custom drapery installations on site.

I have taken on select freelance clients over these years. Some other more noteworthy projects have been: Interior Design consulting for tech-startup Reonomy’s NYC offices, redesigning Kravet’s corporate lobby and designing a residential kitchen in Brooklyn.

Century 21 Department Stores, New York, Interior Designer

I worked as an Interior Design Consultant for the department store’s re-branding efforts. This project consisted of designing millwork and clothing fixtures, sourcing vintage furniture and display accessories, producing 3d computer models and CAD drawings, creating client presentations, coordinating in-store display floor moves/windows and general research.

Throughout my undergrad and graduate degree’s, I took freelance work as a stylist. This included styling, purchasing and/or renting of props and clothing, set maintenance and general bookkeeping for film and photo productions. Some of my favorite clients were Yahoo, PBS, Real Simple Magazine, Nick Jr, Flaunt Magazine, Oprah Magazine, Playboy, Inc. and Telemundo.
